Brief: Composited overhead/tabletop animation assignment
This assignment is an exploratory animation exercise which will investigate theoretical and practical approaches to the animated form. This exercise will focus on the stop-motion animation of characters, character animation, gesture posing and interaction using cut-out/overhead animation (composited into a photographic background).

Brief: Composited overhead/tabletop animation assignment
Design and create an armature puppet character and animate them in 2 of the outlined ways. Each animation should be 5-10 seconds with sound. They do not need to be connected and can be stand alone. You should strive to make your project adhere to the ideas, themes and processes that we have explored in class.
Your project must include at least two of the following approaches:

• Weighted struggle
• Dynamic action
• Emotional Reactions
• Dance move time to music
• Lip Sync
