2024: Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

Brief: Over the course of 12 weeks, students will learn to develop their thinking for design, the relationship between music and animation through mood, tone, and timing. You will learn to problem solve and be flexible in your approach. Students will be expected to research the client, the piece of music in question, and importantly the context and space the work will be shown in.

The culmination of this project will be a short animated piece timed to music, to be shown on stage at RMIT's Capitol Theatre with MSO playing live.

This studio was delivered as part the Bachelor of Design (Animation) at RMIT University.
